That said, the room & facility could use a little updating as far as basic upkeep. The elevator was out of order and it seems like they were doing some work on the place so that's a positive. Just needs a little polishing but, overall, a gem. Would stay there again!"

"I honestly have never left a review in 20 years of traveling. Good or bad. This was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. My wife and I booked a standard room on a whim and were more satisfied than some suites we've spent hundreds on for a weekend. The cocktail lounge is small but intimate and you won't get a bad drink. This place exceeded all expectations. Props to the hotel management and staff. Incredible gem you guys have created"
