"We booked the Alcyone for a friends party being held at Eagle farm racecourse and Alcyone location was within close proximity. Couldn’t fault anything, rooms clean and comfortable, easy checkin and communication. Would highly recommend and stay again if the opportunity arises."

"Location is great. Cleaning isn’t good, there was a lot of hair from another person on the bathroom floor, tiles in the kitchen were full of mouldy grout. Laundry area hadn’t been cleaned at all."

"Love the pet friendly rooms with no extra charges. Very few of this sort of accommodation around! :) Bathrooms are very tired and the bed was not very comfy. Quite loud due to being on a train line / main roads but overall the room was clean and tidy and suited us for a one night stay. Easy check in process. Friendly staff. "

"The establishment was okay overall and reasonable for the price. The room was clean and the location made it easy to find places nearby for dinner. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. Parking was a real issue — although it’s meant to be one vehicle per room, several spots were taken up by trailers, and one vehicle with a trailer managed to occupy six spaces. "Over all was a great place to stay. I was on the 6th floor and had poor internet to stream on the TV, this was the only source for watching anything. The A/C could not be set any lower than 20 degrees which I found to be on the warm side."

The room was amazing, very happy with it! •Through Expedia App. asked questions and never got an answer with communication with contacting the hotel. I rang Expedia directly, for answers. I also rang the hotel directly as well and Spoke to a young lady a few days prior to our booking and she was not helpful and had no idea."
