"A lovely little find, perfectly located for a trip on The Broads, or sitting watching the boats and wildlife. Great sized rooms. Excellent choice of breakfast freshly cooked. Enjoyed a couple of evening meals on site. Staff go above a beyond and are icing on the cake at this lovely old hotel. "

"Room great - good view of the river Bure and boats..swans a swimming ! Good signal for internet and bathroom clean ( no mold ) good fan quality toiletries quality towels and warm - Great. Cannot fault it at all. Restaurant excellent quality of food and cooking good. I ate in the restaurant in the evening and had the Venison which was not overcooked - just right and the breakfast was diverse and plentiful - cannot fault at all Excellent welcoming staff from check in to leaving. I will stay again...

"It's the people (for me) that make a place. Don't get me wrong, the location, and Caistor Hall itself are both great, but the service we received made this an exceptional experience. We felt right at home, it's posh but without airs & graces, perfect. Michelle was just lovely, so friendly and helpful, knew the property, it's history, and spoke very highly of the owners (important that the leadership of a place like Caistor Hall is right). "From check-in to check-out via breakfast and dinner, all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and tidy. 2 night stay in which the 2nd night was a bit noisier but nothing verging on causing a disturbance. Ideal location for city centre and for the University, where we had a concert on the saturday night. Food was fairly priced and extremely tasty. "
