"Fabulous setting and surroundings, the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. We ordered the burgers from the evening menu and that is the only that spoilt the stay, they were extremely processed. All the rest of the food was great."

"What an absolute little slice of paradise! G was a fantastic host making sure we got to our field alright and showed us how everything worked before leaving us too it. We had the most relaxing night looking out at hills by the fire and the hot tub and sauna were an absolute luxury. We were even surprised with how warm the tent got, it was super cosy during the overnight rainstorm and I'm already thinking of when we can get back there already! "Stayed many times now and it’s usually really good. However they accepted a plane full of easyJet passengers and only had one lass working checkin. The queue was huge. The lass was lovely but the management are clearly terrible at their job"

"Character property in the heart of Buxton. We arrived very late (after midnight) and the Night team at the hotel were exceptional. They couldn't have been more helpful in moving luggage and assisting check in while my wife tried to keep our baby asleep. Good breakfast in the morning. Well appointed room."

"A lovely clean comfortable double room with access to snacks, tea and coffee, fresh milk and treats on every floor. Chilled water was free from reception. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of continental and cooked. All the staff were superb and very helpful. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend all at a reasonable price."
