"This is an older hotel but dont judge a book by it's cover. The room was clean ( no carpet!)and just what we needed for a quick one night stay. The staff was nice. The only thing I could complain about was the washcloths were on the old side."

"The service was great. But the air in one room the nob was broken and the hair dryer in the other room didn't even work."

"The staff are the real stars here! They are so nice - from the front desk to housekeeping. Special thanks to Erica in housekeeping for making the stay wonderful. I had asked for bare minimum (new sheets and towels) and she did it all plus gave me extras of towels. She saw my little boys! Appreciated the thoughtfulness. The ladies in the breakfast room were also very nice, making sure the kids and I had what we needed. Biscuits and Gravy are Sundays BTW. It was delicious everyday. Great stay!...

"Very clean hotel, great staff would definitely stay again.they get bonus points for having a box fan for me and an extra charger... But that breakfast is awful. It's all warmed up microwave food, nothing but carbs and processed foods disgusting. Like probably the worst breakfast I've had at any hotel I've ever stayed at."

"**Outstanding Customer Service – Thank You, Victor!** Victor provided exceptional customer service during our stay at Best Western Ottumwa Inn & Suites. He was incredibly helpful, supportive, and cooperative, and went above and beyond to assist us whenever we needed help. His kindness, patience, and willingness to help made a real difference in our experience. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about guests and does everything possible to make their stay comfortable and...

"The photos on the website are not at all what the rooms look like. The room was dirty, the hangers all 3 of them had dust on them, the luggage rack was dirty and dust. No water pressure. We had to leave after one night"

"There is not one thing that detracts from how nice this place is and I've traveled a bit recently. The staff exceeded expectations.. we've gotten so used to people that clearly don't want to be at their job that the smiles, politeness and genuine interest in how our room was surprised us all. We were a big group and everyone in our group said the same thing about the staff. I would return just because of the staff. So, we were VERY HAPPY with the staff. The area around the hotel was clean and...
