"The setting in such a quiet rural location but only minutes from Wadebridge and the cottage suited us perfectly for our purpose for being in the area. We had some queries about the property before arrival and found Sykes support lacking but the house keeper for the cottage was really helpful and was able to help us on 2 occasions with instant replies. We had some bad weather in the form of wind and a bit of rain but was still nice venturing out to the headland for a walk. Breakfast was good is lovely to see a decent pub doing well.. "

"The Farmers Arms is especially welcoming to dogs. My dog even was given a sausage for her breakfast everyday. Bedroom was really clean and inviting with superb shower. Parking was safe and very easy too"

"Stayed for 2 nights. Just perfect. Breakfast perfect. Main meals perfect. Staff perfect. Room was just fabulously perfect. The uneven floors were beautful and the effort made to keep it looking old is to be applauded. The doors were awesome. We find somewhere like this every year around this time for our birthdays and anniversary. Always somewhere with history and central to exploring. First time in 100s we'll be coming back.The whole bodmin area is astounding and the Jamaica is the perfect base...
