"Worked fine for an overnight stay. Friendly staff, functional room, ok breakfast. "

"Really didn't enjoy our stay. The room was dirty especially around the windows and in poor state of repair with multiple chips in the basin. We had to climb a very old spiral staircase to get to the room which would be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. Finally we were given a choice of breakfast either at 7.15 am or 10.15 and nothing was available in between."

"Please don't hide the kettle and cup's in the wardrobe I didn't see them until I was leaving The shower was excellent hot and powerful beds comfortable and the Room is warm if you turn the heating up "

"Good location, very good restaurant food, room is a little tired and had lots of TLC required and modernising. It’s a big property so would cost. Gym is a £7 charge if not booked with room"

"Overall experience ok, staff friendly but only one staff at the morning breakfast and have to wait for 20 mins just to order. Room was basic for Bannatyne standard. The standard double bed was very uncomfortable as it was combination of 2 beds joined together leaving the gap in the middle. Shower was flooded and toilet flush buttons not working properly. A bit dissappointed."

"We did not have time to use the hot tub unfortunately and we did not look for shops nearby but we had no need anyway."

"great place for a overnight stay right in the village we had the full english witch was ok blackpudding was to over season for me but had a great sleep in the room and the bar was busy and would stay again"

"Stayed over New Year and decided to stay and extra night as we felt so comfortable as staff and food were good. Room was a little small for a 'premium ' but adequate. The bar/ lounge is great, lovely fires and a lot of residents brought their dog, the staff engaged with all👍👍. Look forward to seeing how they upgrade the hotel after the January shutdown. We will be back."
