"Beautiful room and lodge. Very comfortable, elegant, spacious, and quiet. Bathroom was large and attractive with all the amenities. Loved the fireplace and large windows.Greg helped us move our luggage to the room, which was available early, to our weary delight. Exceptionally clean. King size bed was wonderfully comfortable. After checkout, staff discovered my husband had left his insulin in mini fridge and delivered it to us before we left the lobby. Truly felt like a refuge after leaving Oktoberfest in Breckenridge!"

"The Sonnenalp is truly a luxury experience - and the photos online do not do the property justice. The property and rooms are beautiful, well-maintained, and the perfect setting for a stay in Vail. It is in an excellent location, with plenty of bars, shops, and restaurants in walking distance. We stayed in the summertime for a short stay after our wedding, and the staff truly made the stay special. The pool area is along the creek and is an incredibly serene and relaxing setting. We loved everything about the Sonnenalp - highly recommend!"

"Room: very good. basic, but nice decor. Plenty of options to put my stuff. Staff: sub par. The staff seemed like the inexperienced training the more inexperienced. They were polite. Location: excellent! Valet: excellent! Cleanliness: very good. Clean upon arrival. House keeping: sub par. not offered daily. X 1 in a 4 night stay. Billing: subpar. Double check your bill. (Inexperienced staff.)"
