Most lighting was unplugged when entering room. Staff was nice. Breakfast minimal choice. I know it was off season for the hotel. But when arriving the place looked closed down and not open. "

"The cabin was very clean, the bed was comfy and the pillows were soft. It stayed well heated through our cold stay, even had to crack a window in the bedroom as the heater works extremely well which is adjustable. The desk lady was very nice and helpful. We will be going back!"

Somewhat limited room numbers (expansion is on the way, along with presumed upgrades to everything) and sparse accommodations could force a traveler to overlook the most important aspect of the stay: a comfy bed. They have a lot of these. Think 'best sleep you've had in weeks' kinda vibe. At the time of my recent stay here I had been on the road for quite a bit and the bed comfort level exceeded that of some $150-$300 rooms I had stayed at for work. If...
