It’s still a lovely place to stay if you want the freedom of an apartment and don’t want to be too close to the main resorts. "The hotel was good, clean, staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very good and rooms were sound proof and with good air conditioning. Pool were clean but small. At times they felt a bit crowded but most of the time were good in June. I imagine that July and August they would be crowder. Amenities like the Club for VIP were expensive €15 per drink! the same as the spa services. The restaurant Suena Chibo served us the worst rump stakes we ever ate at €26 per piece. Do not recommend...

"hotel molto bello, funzionale e comodo. Posizione fantastica, se si ha una macchina. Personale gentilissimo e molto disponibile. Siamo arrivati in anticipo e ci hanno dato la possibilità di lasciare i bagagli in tranquillità. Stanze molto ampie e confortevoli. L unica pecca è che il parcheggio è a pagamento e lungo la strada, specialmente la sera, si trova posto un pò distante dall'hotel. "Bruno was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Tenerife and gave us excellent advice for days out and making the most of public transport too. He was always friendly, courteous and attentive. "Stayed at Hotel Alta Montaña and it delivered exactly what you want from a mountain base. Clean, quiet, and well run. The staff are genuinely welcoming, not just polite, which makes a difference when you’re staying a few days. The views are outstanding, especially sitting above the cloud layer at around 1,400 meters. From a cycling standpoint, the location is hard to beat. You’re essentially on the climb the moment you roll out. You can head straight toward Teide or descend as far as you like...

"This a good hotel specially regarding location and amenities around. The building is nice as well but need more maintenance as it’s very old. Need to improve and do maintenance in the pool and also rooms. The breakfast it’s not fantastic, very usual and nothing special. The coffee machine is disaster, ( really worth to change it to better one), pastries are very good. Staff are very nice and helpful as well."
