"This is an FYI review. Information I wish I knew before I booked. I chose Hotel 101 due to its close proximity to Terminal 4. However be aware that the free shuttle service only runs once an hour and it takes 40 minutes from the hotel to arrive at terminal 4 after going first to terminals 1, 2 and 3. "We had a wonderful stay at the H10 Villa de la Reina Boutique Hotel. The hotel is at a great location in central Madrid with quick access to anything we needed, like restaurants or transportation. The lobby, restaurant, bar, and our room were all attractive, comfortable, and clean. The hotel is on the busy Gran Via, but we found the inside of the hotel to be a warm and calming contrast to the bustle outside. A nice place to relax. "I appreciated that a map of attractions was offered when I checked in. As an American that is use to breakfast being the day after you sleep, I was caught by surprise that I wasn't on the list the morning I checked out. For Americans it would be a helpful thing to know ahead of time."
