Only negative is Lawin room, a beach front cottage backs on to a very noisy bar, the music should stop at 10pm, it didn’t one night and the hotel did respond and speak to the bar and they provide earplugs. But whilst having evening showers you do feel like you are at a youth hostel disco! With the base coming into the room. I would definitely stay at this hotel again but ask not to be near the bar. "

"We loved staying at Forest Camp! It was rugged and authentic with cute rooms and amazing views. There are some serious stairs but don't let that discourage you. The views are worth it. And what really makes it is Di and Rio. These two are such a valuable addition to the property and will do whatever it takes to make sure you are taken care of. "When coming to a place as remote as El Nido, I had low expectations for hotels that were in the budget friendly category. The Amos Pili Tree Inn exceeded those expectations. The room was a reasonable size, there was a private bathroom with hot water. The hotel is located within a 5 minute walk from the night market and the main shopping / restaurants in El Nido town. "This was my second stay at the Reef Strand. Last year I was there before the remodel. The place has a great new look and I'd call it a gem. Owner and most of the staff go out of their way to make things run smoothly. If your looking for a loud party haven it's not there. At the Reef you'll find peace and relaxation. However, if you want to stay up all night and drink till the sun comes up the staff will be gladly tuk tuk you to where the nights run into the day. Rates are reasonable considering...
