"Everything was great/ clean room, great staff/ close by parking and beautiful garden grounds"

"Wonderful stay! Bill was a wonderful host. He made sure we had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. There were beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, a small styrofoam ice chest available for us to use in the room. There were also boogie boards, sand toys, and wagons available to use as well. The rooms were clean and they connected which provided plenty of space for our family of 5! Can’t recommend this hotel enough."

"Excellent place for a weekend. Really close to the beach and main restaurants. Unfortunately the beach has a lot of sargassum seaweed. Could be great if the pool offers any kind of service, pool bar was not working."

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are clean, equipped with a fridge and microwave, beachfront with umbrellas and chairs, as well as a big publix grocery store just a 5 minute walk away. Everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation at your fingertips. I will definitely be back"

"Great location in Fort Lauderdale on intercoastal and beach a few bocks east. Room had washer/dryer, full size refrigerator and microware. Daily breakfast and bar and restaurant for dinner available too. We have stayed here over the years and never disappointed. Look forward to staying there next time we are in town."

"The room was clean and lots of necessities such as toiletries, dishes, extra towels were all provided in the room. The pool was warm and clean just a little low on water!"

"Upon arrival, the pictures on their website looked nothing like the property. There was mildew and mold in the bottom of the swimming pool. We immediately tried to cancel and had no cooperation with owner or management of the facility. If you look at the other reviews, it is filthy dirty would not recommend anyone."

"This was the second time we've stayed at the Surfsider. The first time was five years ago, in May 2021. Miss Sam took good care of us both times. Camilo & Cinnamon were very accommodating, too. Cinnamon even printed out a map to the Cuban restaurant we were trying out for the first time. This place is a hidden gem. My only complaint was the hot water in the second bathroom wasn't working when I showered but my husband was also showering in the master bath so that probably accounts for it. Other...

"The property was very clean and well kept. Complimentary water in fridge came in handy. I prefer spring water over purified. I dislike the glass shower wall, it was inconvenient having to reach inside the shower to start running water. The balcony view was great. "Dee Jay Beach resort is a great place to stay in Lauderdale by the Sea. Not only us it in a great location, our efficiency was comfortable and roomy. The owner was on site and attended to any needs we had. The backyard was a nice respite from the hectic travel and had a pool and lounge chairs to relax and rest. There was a shopping plaza a short distance away, which housed a super market, a diner, and so much more. A short drive, led us to a great area with lots of restaurants and shops. ...

"The property was in a good location and had plenty of parking spots (for a daily fee). Breakfast was included with the stay but by the time we would arrive around 9:30/10am all breakfast options were wiped out and not replenished. The room was adequate but the AC unit was loud. The hotel also had beach chairs for rent which was a positive. Overall a decent hotel to stay in in the Fort Lauderdale area"
