We immediately tried to cancel and had no cooperation with owner or management of the facility. If you look at the other reviews, it is filthy dirty would not recommend anyone."

"Dee Jay Beach resort is a great place to stay in Lauderdale by the Sea. Not only us it in a great location, our efficiency was comfortable and roomy. The owner was on site and attended to any needs we had. The backyard was a nice respite from the hectic travel and had a pool and lounge chairs to relax and rest. There was a shopping plaza a short distance away, which housed a super market, a diner, and so much more. A short drive, led us to a great area with lots of restaurants and shops. ...

"I changed rooms three times. First room was not properly cleaned, including a dirty toilet and sticky stuff on the carpet; second room, the TV did not work; third room, the A/C was non-functional. Amenities were not that great, the distance to the beach is not that close, and the hotel is somewhat dated. I would not make a second trip to this hotel."
