"Breathless was very clean and visually beautiful; however, the service did not meet expectations. Several staff members were rude and seemed irritated whenever we asked for assistance or requested rides around the resort.
One experience that stood out was when my partner and I went to redeem our coupons. A female staff member joked that after his spa service he could receive a “happy ending” and laughed about it. I found that comment completely inappropriate and unprofessional, especially at a resort that promotes luxury and comfort. Even after expressing that I did not think it was appropriate, the situation was simply laughed off.
We also attended a presentation for what appeared to be a timeshare opportunity. The representative was very friendly during the presentation, but once we politely declined, his attitude changed completely. He became aggressive and visibly upset, which made us uncomfortable. We were originally told that whether we purchased or not, everything would be fine either way, so the reaction at the end was disappointing.
Additionally, the food caused stomach issues for both of us almost every day of the trip. Since we stayed on the Xhale side, we expected a higher level of service and overall experience. Unfortunately, it felt like the regular side of the resort actually provided a better atmosphere and service.
Overall, while the resort itself was clean and attractive, the customer service, professionalism, and dining experience was excellent."
