"Great place to stay! "

"Staff were very helpful and were always positive. The location can't be beat if you're there to see Broadway - exit the door and go 10 steps down the road and you're standing in Times Square. Downside was the hotel could use an update. It was a pricey booking and I was expecting better considering there are other options in the area where we've stayed in the past."

"Breakfast was all store bought nothing was fresh at all maybe except the omelet which they don’t make daily. Nice staff and fast communication through phone messages. The hotel does get busy so taking the elevator would take up to 15 minutes. Rooms were sort of clean and cleaning service didn’t do much other than change sheets and take trash out. "

"EXCEPTIONAL in every way. From the well appointed rooms to the stellar staff, The Civilian shined. I was shocked at how quiet the rooms were especially since the hotel is in close proximity to Times Square. We felt a million miles away from the hustle and bustle even though it was steps away. We stayed in a "Cozy" room and it felt much larger than 130 square feet. The design and efficiency plus the feng shui of the space made it feel like home. "Very strategic location, can do early check in, good service. "

"The property location is excellent, so walkable, close to Times Square yet we had plenty of quiet to rest after long days of walking. Staff is helpful, attentive and each member we interacted with was customer service oriented. Bedding is crisp, beds and pillows very comfy, rooms are a decent size per NY standard with closet space and room to move. We didn’t use the health club. Bar is lovely. Based on location, service and comfort, we’d definitely recommend. "

"The staff were so friendly! Everyone I had to talk to was so helpful and outgoing. The room I felt like I heard everything in. I’ve stayed in hotels all around Times Square and I feel like you hear noise and it’s muffled. This I felt like I heard everything like I was outside in it. Other than that, I had no issues with anything else. "

"Dino was great! So was the female cashier thats always working the 2nd register long ponytail I forgot her name. Great service across the board. Elevator staff was always helpful nice and friendly."
