"Well located and nice hotel, easy transport links, restaurants, night out venues at short distance. We did not have breakfast as we thought it was not varied enough. The only downside was during the last day, we were five people divided in two rooms, we decided to go for breakfast and we came back to rest a bit before leaving, one of the rooms was cleaned 2 hours before the check out time, we never left the sign for the room to be cleaned and we had mot checked out, the cleaner was very angry because we were going to use the toilet. We made a complaint to reception who politely apologised for the inconvenience."

"The room was modern and design, very practical with plenty of space. although a bit tricky to configure, the Air conditioned worked very smoothly. Breakfast was incredible with a large variety of fresh food. The swimming pool was also a nice addition after a hot day, very clean and agreable. this is real 4 stars hotel, very good value."

"We had a wonderful stay at Occidental Atenea Mar. The rooms were clean, and very comfortable. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The gym and rooftop pool area were great. The breakfast buffet was excellent and they were very accommodating to dietary restrictions. The location was excellent for us, about a block from the beach and quieter than the more central parts of Barcelona. Despite not being in the city center, it was still very easy to get to the main attractions, with bus stops and metros a short walk away. It was also pretty easy to get a taxi right from the hotel. Overall, we cannot recommend this place enough and hope to come back soon!!"
