"Needed an escape from the London heat, and the price was affordable for inclusive breakfast, swimming pool and free parking. On arrival the staff was lackluster, but I guess we were all feeling the heat. I was caught off guard that we had to book a pool session and it only lasted 45 mins. I guess it was a busy time but still found it highly unusual. The room was clean and spacious with all basic amenities. The hotel is less than 5 mins to the main shopping area. Breakfast was provided, rooms were comfortable and there was a Harvester restaurant across the parking lot which worked out well when we arrived back after a long and exhausting day. The Bad: Staff are rude, unhelpful, amenities in room are limited and not the best e.g shampoo/ Shower gel both labelled as shower gel, kettle had visible limescale. "I had a single room which was well laid out with an excellent on-suite. The bar was well stocked with very good hot bar snacks. My only negative was that they did not have draft beer. There is a large screen tv. The staff were attentive and very professional. I will stay here again if I'm in Bedford. I"

"This is an events hotel with a very large number of guests. I had a room in the Paddocks which is a building outside the main hotel. The rooms have No Aircon, the windows barely open due to safety catches. The temperature in the room was unbearable. The fan which was suppose to help was of very poor quality and did nothing to improve things! "Parking is a 2-3 minute walk to reception. EV charging points available. Bar OK Rest of the hotel needs some tlc, outside seating area not weeded, rooms need decor. Self service breakfast, food choices, but low quantity food. Bread in the bar snacks also very low quality, which is a real shame and you are paying hotel prices.
