"It's a wonderful property a stones throw from all the neighborhoods for local shopping and dining. Very comfortable, clean, and very quiet. The booking process is a little tedious but don't let that put you off. They are actively working to make sure all their guests have a pleasant and quite experience. We stayed in a lovely room with a small patio. It was very relaxing. We found the parking to be pretty easy."

"Avoid. Marginally clean. Tub was gross. I did not feel comfortable taking a shower. Lamps that were supposed to have 2 light bulbs had only 1. No Kleenex supplied in room. Remote control on TV did not work. Had to go to the desk 4 times before someone came to the room and figured it out. Outside stairs are treacherous. The railings are at least 6" too low. You have to be in a bent over position to hold the railing."

"The room was not vacuumed or swept, there was dirt on the ceiling, walls and doors, even after I had asked the front desk to have someone come they only came to make the bed. The fire alarm was hanging from the ceiling and didn’t look like it was working at all. The front desk was polite but assured me someone had cleaned the room. I recommend paying more to stay somewhere that actually takes cleanliness as a priority. The walls are also very thin you can hear lots from the rooms around you."

"The place is okay. The room we got smelled strongly like cigarettes — the odor was soaked into the walls — but for the price, I guess it’s fine."

"I requested a steamer twice and never received it. Breakfast buffet was $30 without tip or alacart. WiFi was $14.99 a day.. I had to request fresh towels and robes multiple times a day. Very disappointing for $700+ for two nights stay..... the only positive were the friendly front desk staff who gave me free complimentary water (since the water in the room was not free) and when I had an issue with parking the front desk clerk validated it for me."

"It’s ok. However, not worth the price, even though it’s really convenient to Northwestern. Rooms are plain. Bathroom is plain. Bed felt like old mattress. People were very nice, and the restaurant was very good. Service was excellent even when we had a power outage caused by the city. The restaurant survived on gas grill and served. I was very impressed with them."

"the fact that it was mentioned that the rooms are soundproof was not at all true. even after booking a 4 star hotel, my overallexperience was bad. I specifically booked a luxury hotel to give my family the best experience as it was their first time in chicago, but everyone of us could literally hear vulgar moaning sounds all the time which was really embarrassing for all of us. It went on for hours. I’d not recommend the hotel to anybody especially if they are going with family."
