"I had mold in my room"

"I was put in the wrong room initially but the front desk guy corrected it for me. The room was not the most comfortable the bed was kind of hard and the towels were stiff. I am not going to lie no I would not stay here again. Also they charged me $65 for one night of valet parking!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here! The room, breakfast and amenities were great. We loved the historic structure and perfect location for the MIT reunion. I liked being able to tip with a QR code and a makeup mirror was a helpful bonus in our room."

"Beautiful rooms"

"The location is great, very close to all the nice shops on Exeter street, just across from the Boston Public Library. The staff were excellent, very helpful and polite. Be aware the hotel is an older property and they have chosen to maintain the same esthetic, so it has that old school hotel vibe. Bed was super comfortable, A/C was very cold, liked the pillow, had bathrobes, ironing board and iron for guest use. Big bathroom with a tub."

"This was an interesting hotel and if you have any experience of the raffles brand elsewhere then I would recommend be prepared. The venue is central but overlooking an 8storey multi story car park and rather cramp rooms was not really value add. The suite on the other hand in higher floors were. A butler system which I must say working off some mediocre phone prompts just doesn’t cut it . One looses the will to live when saying I need a shaving kit and al you get back is “is there something else...

"Great location - so glad we chose this spot and the hotel is well maintained and very aesthetically pleasing. The only suggestion that would help travelers is to add a mini microwave to the rooms. I would definitely recommend"

"I had a poor experience with a lost item. I left my e-reader in my hotel room after checking out and called every day including the day I checked out. For a couple days, the staff would just tell me to call again the next day to check so I feel like absolutely no effort was being made to look for my item. Very frustrating uncaring attitude. I didn’t get my item back even though I’m sure I left it in the hotel room."
