"I would not recommend staying at this hotel. My experience was very disappointing. There were roaches in the dining area. While my wife, another couple, and I were eating, roaches were coming out of the table. When we told the staff, they said they already knew about the problem. "I’ve been going to St Croix for 12 years and need to advise that if you’re looking for a 5 star luxury hotel / resort; you’re on the wrong island; goto St Thomas. Hotels here are mainly historic / small, which keeps with the island. With that said I loved staying at this hotel. "The room was comfortable and had more amenities than other places I have stayed in St.Croix. The owners were friendly and helpful. The views were beautiful and the breeze enjoyable in the evening. You do need an all wheel drive vehicle and should definitely arrive while it is still light out. The WiFi was dependable."

"The hotel stay was pretty awesome. Taking the ferry back and forth to the main island was fun and very convenient! The guys in the boat shop on the hotel property were my hero’s and so helpful with tour info and any questions we had. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The only thing I could complain about is the hotel is still renovating so there was quite a bit of construction mess and noise but it was not really a bother. The snorkeling around the hotel was fantastic!!!"
