"Nice property, clean rooms and friendly staff. Great location!"

"The property is run down. The breakfast selection was poor and the food was mediocre, nothing special. The staff was rude and not helpful in any way. The restaurants at the resort closed early and only had one cook so would get backed up and not take orders. We didn’t eat most days. They didn’t offer shuttles anywhere and we were told to take taxis for things as small as toothpaste. We didn’t have a phone in our room and room service was not available. The ac broke on day 3 and we placed the DND sign on the door and housekeeping still went inside our room and some of our valuables came up missing. The front desk didn’t know anything we asked and even when I pressed for information I was directed to look online for answers. Some of the staff allowed people they knew to bring guests in. One woman brought a group of special needs clients that she was watching for work. So the vibe of the resort shifted to more of an adult daycare facility. Also there is no water sports, only 4 kayaks. I could go on and on. This was a complete disaster. I would not recommend and will not be returning."

"The rooms in the great house were spacious and had great views. The breakfast was also really great, but we did not like the coffee which is a big deal for us but we found a good cafe in town. The terrace restaurant had great food, great views, great service. The mermaid for lunch was ok and the service wasn’t great. We had a great time on St Croix and we would stay at the Buccaneer again."

"My first time staying at this resort was pleasant. pros the resort was clean and peaceful the view of the beach was lovely. Food was ok needed a little improvement my best meal was breakfast. Cons this resort definitely needs room service! the first day I woke up to my room being soaking wet water was dripping from the ceiling on to the floor and the beds due to the dehumidifier not being emptied but the staff was very accommodating and clean and fixed everything pretty quickly."

"Our stay at The king Christian hotel was awesome. It was beautiful there & the staff that checked us in were kind and courteous but the staff that relieved that staff were the complete opposite. We arrived Thursday after 6 & the last and male front desk were a delight but the ones that worked the next day in the morning had horrible attitudes."

"Other than the Walls’s being thin the place was clean, beautiful view. Had a pool , and a bar with bar type food. Loved the snorkel gear and how the property was more private "
