"Beautiful hotel in a great location. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean. Only negative was, we felt, on our first couple of days at breakfast there seemed to be a shortage of staff, disorganisation, having to ask for things e.g. cups, teaspoons etc, also most empty tables still had dirty dishes on from previous guests, and we had to wait for one to be cleared on more than one occasion. "Very helpful and kind staff - made our stay wonderful! They provided a map of Nice with hot spots highlighted, and beach towels to use for free! The breakfast buffet was great and worth the cost. Location was also great - right across from the train station and about 25mins to the water:) Would definitely recommend staying here."

"Nice hotel overall but overpriced. Close to station but quiet. Didn’t think it was particularly good value for money. Room decor is lovely but it’s still by and large quite cheaply put together- plastic basin in bathroom that stains easily and cheap damaged bedside tables. Beds were comfortable. Area near the station isn’t the nicest."

"The hotel is close to the airport and that’s about the only positive I can stay. Check in took forever. The rooms are tiny and uncomfortable. Beds are extremely uncomfortable - mattress practically non-existent. We arrived late in the evening and brought a salad in to eat dinner and were told to eat outside or in our room. We were not allowed to eat in the common area unless we ordered from the restaurant- and there was nobody there! It felt like a very expensive youth hostel."

"We loved staying at Hotel Neptune. Its proximity to the tram, beach and promenade, restaurants, etc, were perfect. The size of the room was just fine for two travelers and our suitcases. We didn’t unpack as there’s room to do so but were able to hang up a few items. The full shower was great as well."
