"There was old food in our room fridge from previous people
There was an awful smell everytime you opened the door
The air con was terrible in such hot weather
The staff were barley helpful on checking in

"Does not feel like a 4 star hotel. The rooms were not cleaned very well…. I don’t even know if my bedsheets got fully changed… I could smell dirty cheesy feet near the pillow when I was sleeping… I was so thrown off by the smell. The filtered glass bottle water they provided was clearly not cleaned by the previous guest who put their lips on the bottle… thank goodness I checked it before pouring myself a glass of water. The carpet had some red stains…. The tub did not drain well when showering...

"The web site photos make the building look huge and elegant. Not so. It was a very plain hotel in a residential area. The rooms do not have a closet or drawers to unpack your luggage so if you’re planning on staying for multiple days, this makes it a bit difficult. There is a wall area with a few hangers but not a closet. The fan in the bathroom did not work and when I inquired on this, they did not have a solution of the problem."

"Fabulous location. Lovely friendly , helpful staff. We arrived early and were able to leave our bags and enjoy the facilities whilst awaiting check in . Lovely cool free flavoured water in reception bd coffee free of charge . Decent breakfast.
Only negative was that room 102 was right above several air con units so noisy when French door open . Fridge in room . Walking distance two mins to train station and shops and bars 🌟🌟🌟🌟"

"Looks good in the photos but this hotel has just been bought by the Marriott group and a refurb will start in October a staff member told us and boy does it need one! Parts of the pool deck should be closed off as they are downright dangerous with missing floorboards in places. We had to have the maintenance team out as soon as we arrived as the bed was just a camp bed (metal squeaky frame and springs) that was faulty and they were lovely and got it mostly sorted. The decor is shoddy, damaged...

"We paid almost 1000 USD for a room but were very disappointed in the quality of the room. It was a very basic room (like a 3 star hotel). The bathroom was old and the tiles had mold & mildew. The room was poorly furnished and we were shocked that they cherished 1000$ for it. We could have stayed at luxury hotels in Nice for the same price (we checked the rates). Do NOT recommend staying here."

"We loved our stay! The hotel itself is super cute with a nice seating and bar area in the lobby. The room was pretty decently sized, clean, and quiet. We had a balcony which came with some chairs and a small table which was great. The hotel staff was very nice and super helpful! The location is great, as it’s about a 10 min walk from the main promenade/beach and about another 10 min walk from the main train station."

"The staff are very helpful and friendly. Convenient breakfast if required. Rooms very comfortable and I enjoyed my little balcony. The property was very clean with friendly cleaning ladies in all areas. Even the floor in the bin room in the basement was freshly washed when I put my rubbish bag in there. Merci!"

"Rooms are compact but very clean with comfortable beds, (we had the superior double) Aircon was good and the staff were all excellent.
Russel on reception was very welcoming and friendly.
Highly recommend this hotel - it’s in a great central location, Also there is a free water dispenser in the breakfast room which is available for guests to use! Great facility & I wish more hotels did this ."
