"The staff in general was very kind. Our room was very quiet which we appreciated, and I must say the best part of this hotel would be the bed! Extremely comfortable mattress and even more comfortable pillows…they would not provide us with two duvets as they said, they did not have the inventory for that which I found odd. I realize this is a small hotel however, this is not an extremely unusual request in the hospitality industry to have a bed made up German style. Unfortunately the other issue ...

"The room and hotel was great . The location was perfect. I had got in a car accident and had to stay last minute at the hotel . The reason I gave low stars is because the guest service staff charged my card a 1129$ hold . The room was prepaid through Expedia and I was only to pay a 100$ incidental fee. But he made a “oppise” as he said . FOR $1,029!!!! Thank God I still had fund to get my car together and keep going . But if that was my last that was a horrible mistake and NOTHING was done no...

"If you like antique hotels this is definitely a great pick! Facing away from city centre towards the river, this hotel is a nice getaway on its own. The room was spacious and large and the bed was comfortable. The furniture, bathtub, and other decorative elements provide a glimpse into colonial styling. The restaurant and wine bar downstairs were exceptional in particular the large selection by the glass or bottle. "

"Location to historical district could not be better. Rooms are a little dated but over all, great size, comfy beds, microwave and fridge. Staff were so nice and friendly. Chris, the Concierge, was incredibly helpful.
Super close to start of hop on hop off bus. Chris can book tickets for you. Would highly recommend this tour to get an overall view of area. We loved Philadelphia!"
