"I was surprised how much I enjoyed my 2 night stay here. All credit to the staff from check in to the dining room to room service. Unlike many businesses, the Bailey clearly knows how to hire, train and retrain plenty of wonderful smiley helpful people. Thank you! "The Strand Palace hotel was a perfect location for me to visit The LSE. It’s also close to West End theatres. The only thing I encountered during my day was that several of the common areas in the hotel, including the Palm Court and the Wigmore Pub hosted private parties and were therefore closed to hotel guests. This was inconvenient; hotel guests were not even allowed to walk through those spaces to get to other parts of the hotel!
