"The property is conveniently located in central IB. And while other rooms looked like they would be comfortable our room was located across from where the garbage is dumped and the washer and dryer. I messaged the property manager right away and sent photos of the overflowing garbage. I asked to be moved to another room. They said that was not possible. They did say they would give me a 10% refund on my stay. They never honored this. This level of garbage certainly attracts rats. Who wants this...

"I stayed there for a few nights, checked out and after a few days, I never got my security deposit back. I called and was told by one of the staff that it was going to be sent back to me after a few more days of not hearing anything I called again and found out that supposedly I wasn’t getting my deposit back that something happened and that the staff was trying to reach out to me, but I have received no emails phone calls text messages."

"Fabulous location, 2 minute walk to Moonlight Beach and less than 5min walk to downtown Encinitas."

"The room itself was very nice and had recently been renovated. The bed was comfy and so were the pillows. The building is being renovated, so the lobby was not available, and there was construction equipment around the parking lot. The location is great being less than a mile from the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Honestly you get what you pay for. There was a small dried up roach on the restroom floor. Dead bed bugs outside the room of our neighbor. Towels are poor quality and small. Bed has holes from cigarette burns, white sheets had many stains. Transient living or renting next door to us with sketchy people coming and going. It’s not a good place for a long stay. If you’re passing by it’s fine for a night or two. I definitely did not get room service, by choice."
