"The manager (possibly the owner) was lovely. We had a lake view room, which was beautiful once the fog lifted. It’s an easy walk to nearby restaurants, and we stayed for two nights on our way to and from Milford Sound—a great place to stop. The unit was clean and very well renovated, and we were pleasantly surprised to have an ensuite in the two-bedroom setup. The only downside was the underfloor heating. I loved it, but my husband and daughter had trouble sleeping, even with the window open....

"We had a great stay ands loved the space in the unit. Made our own supper in the kitchen each night too. Staff was very friendly as well. Only negative was weak Internet as the TV would freeze quite a bit. We would recommend this motel to others!"

"This is the best one night stop if visiting Te Anau for a short stay! All the bells and whistles for a luxury stay. On the lakefront, walkable to the village and has a knowledgeable hostess with so many tips for the best places to eat and play! Thank you ☺️ "

"Spent two nights here, the room was very spacious with a separate bedroom. A little older in style, but everything you would need is there. Very close to the town centre and the lake, also dining options. Staff very friendly. Would highly recommend."

"Beautiful accommodation. The owners and staff obviously take great pride in their business. Very well appointed with many little touches to make your stay more comfortable. I toured NZ for two weeks and this was my best choice of accommodation. Highly recommend staying here. "
