"Opal key resort is one of our favorite places to stay in Key West. The location is amazing. Easily walk to Duvall st, Mallory square and the marinas in the harbor area. My only complaint is there were no extra blankets in the room and the bedding was only a top sheet and a very light knitted blanket. I’m sure if I had requested one, they would have brought us one. "Excellent Location and Great Stay for Families! We really enjoyed our stay at Silver Palms Inn and would happily stay here again. The location is excellent and one of the hotel’s biggest advantages. It’s close to all the major attractions in Key West, so you can easily explore on foot. If you prefer, you can also rent a golf cart to get around the island.
