"The room was in the basement of the property and had a shared bathroom. I was not expecting either. From the pictures on the listing I thought I was going to get a room with a bathroom on a regular floor. My reservation was non refundable so I could not cancel it after I paid for it. The house is very clean and the owner was responsive when I expressed my surprise. However, I stayed 9 nights and the situation was not to my liking in that room. The room was very very small."

"Excellent location if arriving by train at Kings Cross but also very quiet inside the hotel. The rooms and furnishings are beautiful and the breakfast room is a delight as was the food itself. The hotel does have an unusual layout though, some of the side lounges look lovely but aren’t very accessible, I’d have liked to see drinks served in those areas from the posh cocktail bar but it didn’t seem to be open: maybe you can but nobody told us? Excellent breakfast buffet, perfect location for accessing the West End Theatre, the British Museum, local buses to EVERYWHERE in London, etc. Reasonable, fair pricing. Nearby restaurants (Italian just across the street is low priced award-winning fare). Away from the crowds and noise but walkable to Leceister Square and Euston, with tubes and buses nearby for easy access! 5th time staying there, feels like a "home...
