"It was good but not a five star experience. We were expecting a kitchenette and a balcony and we didn't get either, the air con in the room was not working, the beds were slightly too hard, I asked the housekeeping staff to come back later and they proceeded to sigh and close the door. Staff was friendly. The gym was okay. The pool"

"Best place we stayed in Portugal. Awesome for family of 4 (two adult kids). Staff was very helpful and loved location. Laundry turned out to be key because of heat wave. Highly recommend."

"A very fun and interesting hotel to stay in - if you don't know the history of the building, definitely look it up! Staff was friendly, and room was very clean. It's also in a pretty great location, that made getting to things via walking, bus, or tram very easy.
The only small issues we had was that our room was on the 2nd floor, which is just above the club that is also in the building, and we could hear the music and noise from it, Pink Street, and the bar next door until 4am and sometimes...
