"The hotel was in good condition and tastefully decorated. The overall effect was however spoiled by the old and shabby pictures hung on all the walls. They looked as if they were picked up as a job lot at an auction and just looked cheap and nasty. Breakfast service and food was very good despite the rather unusual requirement to order your choice the night before. Service overall was very good. Overall we enjoyed our stay."

"The Farmhouse is a lovely building that accommodated us perfectly - 5 adults, 3 kids. It could have accommodated a few more adults if couples were attending. It is let down by some of the furnishings which is a real shame, a little bit of re-investment is all that would be needed. A couple of the chairs have rips in the arms and seats which isn't what you would expect. All facilities are there for you in the kitchen, towels and dressing gowns are provided.
