Hotel is in an urban, artsy area, check out the murals in the area. We walked to a nearby restaurant and did not feel unsafe. . The patio on the 3rd floor is great for reading and watching the sunset. Property has parking in the back. Front desk staff was very helpful. "We stayed here a few nights before a cruise. The suite was one of the underground rooms, but was well lit and the lamp in the bedroom made for a pleasant wall texture. It also made it quiet for a place in the middle of the city. The hot tub was excellent. The concierge was friendly and helpful. The location was good for food and grocery options, and walking distance. the art museum. "
