"As always it was a pleasure to stay at the hotel Belleclaire. The staff are always courteous and nice. The property is immaculate. Ww like the location of the hotel. It is close to Central Park Times Square and other tourist spots. Lots of good restaurants walking distance from the hotel. We will stay there again if in New York."

"Outdoor terrace was not what was expected"

"The room was very clean but rather small and only a view of the brick wall and windows. It would have been nice to have a fridge you can ask for one but have to pay extra. The elevators are slow and couple times one would not be working. It was a good location for us near the subway and buses. I would overall stay there again."

"THERE WAS NO HOT WATER!!!! First off, it is not a hotel, it is an apartment /studio in NYC, and it is illegal to rent out apartments as air bnb. Secondly, no instructions were sent to me about “check in”, so I went to the address listed on the Expedia listing. There was no such address. I was called by the operator who told me to read the instructions! "The staff was great. The location was great. My room was very comfortable, although showing a bit of wear and tear (knobs missing from lamps, a small tear in my bedspread, older and not particularly well-functioning soap dispensers in the bathroom). Just some little things that could have made a good stay better. And I really dislike the nightly "facilities fee."
