"The lobby was in shambles and under construction without any notice. The lobby was about 5 feet wide with no space for my wife and I and other customers to be inside the same time. There was one person at front desk. it took about 30 minutes to check in. The room was very small but I guess for the middle of the city, can’t complain about that. "The room temp was inconsistent and adjustments to the thermostat ineffective. The only big issue was the shower temperature. It was impossible to get a consistent water temp. And I mean varying from way too hot to cold."

"The hotel and room were extremely clean, and the staff were very helpful! When we arrived, my daughter was a bit upset as she had lost something during our travels. The front desk noticed and immediately offered her some tea, which was greatly appreciated! Location is fantastic close enough to walk to everything far enough away that you’re not great in the tourist type of Times Square. Only thing that would’ve made it better was coffee in the room."

"The belleclare is a lovely boutique hotel on the upper west side of Manhattan. It is very clean, the bed linens are clean and crisp. The a/c works well, though I wish it could be set below 67. It would be nice if they offered a feather pillow option. One new annoyance is the three package delivery limit, there is a fee for deliveries beyond that. "

"Great hotel in a perfect spot for theater goers. Our room was fairly quiet, despite the proximity to Times Square. By NYC standards the room was ginormous. It was spacious enough to spread out a bit and relax. The bathroom was also quite large and there were multiple mirrors in the room and bathroom for more than one person to get ready. The multiple plugs in each nightstand was convenient. The front desk staff was amazing."
