"A charming, older hotel with a fantastic view. Smaller in size, painted in tropical colors, it had a casual, homey feel. We had an issue with the shower head and it was fixed within hours; housekeeping does an excellent job. The mattress was nice and firm. Air conditioning works perfectly. The balcony had had a fantastic view of the sea. A quiet, relaxing vacation spot."

"I booked this property through Expedia under stressful circumstances — Barbados air traffic controllers went on strike, my flight was canceled, and I was stranded along with many other travelers. "Rooms were nice and staff was friendly. Property was fine. They are definitely on vacation time as meals are slow (2+ hours for a meal). The restaurants leave a bit to be desired. Poesia was not great at all - probably the worst meal in our party we had in the whole island and the worst Italian. The place is new but the chef is trying to be too creative with limited access to ingredients. A few people had a shrimp dish with tomatoes and no-one had tomatoes in it. Azure is okay - mediocre. "We booked last minute due to a flight cancellation, the owner and onsite property manager were lovely to deal with and accomodated us. We were given clean sheets and 2 towels and the bed was made.
