"Front desk attendant was super helpful!"

"The property was understaffed the weekend we stayed, so fresh towels, toilet paper, paper cups in room, etc., depended on our making a trip to the front desk to get them ourselves. Not what I'm accustomed to at $465 for two nights."

"The elevator was broken, and the fitness room was not open during the stated hours, so I had to track down an employee to let me in. Once I was let in, the water fountain was also broken in the fitness room and there were no cleaning supplies or wipes for the equipment. They had a sign on the broken water fountain, saying that you could request a complimentary water bottle from the front desk but the front desk was not staffed any time that I was in the lobby."

"We reserved and paid for a room here — which the property confirmed that day — but when we arrived, the staff was difficult to find, and when she eventually came out she said there were no rooms available. She was extremely rude and did not explain or help redirect us to another property nearby. Luckily, the Expedia help line was able to find another room for us."

"The hotel was in the process of a name change and renovation. Moving from the Rodeway Inn to a Comfort Inn. This was not noted on the website. The pool was closed and there was no breakfast. The entire first floor was being renovated. The staff was helpful and parking was great. If traveling to that location again we would stay however only if the hotel was complete and the amenities advertised were available."

"Room was large. Bathroom was clean. Shower head could have been better as well as the cloths hanging bar in the bathroom( ready to come off wall) Breakfast was ok but could use individual milk cartons (white&chocolate) Maybe cinnamon rolls/glacéd doughnuts."

"A spill right inside door never got cleaned up. Was there when we got there and was still there after 2 night stay. Had to step over it every time we came in or out. Park8ng lots were dirty. Empty Pallets in parking spots. Not many convenient parking spots either."

"The staff was friendly but we did not stay. In the first room, the bathroom was flooded. We were given a different room and it had roaches. Would not recommend to anyone. The front desk girl was obviously doing her best, but the owners need to put serious work into this place."

"We love the location and the outdoor places to gather. We could easily get to Dunes NP or Lake Michigan to walk the beach. Having the event space and UNO’s restaurant next door made everything easy. We will be back!"

"Nice, newer hotel conveniently located directly off Highway 30. Easy access to downtown Valparaiso. I especially liked the floor was NOT carpet. Quibble - windows do not open. Breakfast was good. "Tina" at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel."

"First time staying at a Spark hotel. I was very disappointed with Hilton. Our “clean” bathroom had a dirty wet hand towel in the shower. In the morning the front desk guy DC as he said was his name was very rude. We got to breakfast 1.5 before ending time and there was no milk, cream cheese or cups and bowls. We asked for milk and cups and DC rolled his eyes and said “agh”. Both mornings there were breakfast items that needed replacing and both mornings DC complained like we were an...
