"The room is large and comfortable and the bathroom is always warm which is good during cold autumn period. They provide free flow of water and juice bottles which is rare in other hotels. The area is superb as it is right in the piazzia de signoria and walking steps to uffizi gallery. Overall, the best stay of my italy trip."

"This is the place to stay if you want to see the sites in Florence. It is literally next to the Duomo and all the amazing stores and restaurants. Even though the streets are noisy- you will not hear anything when in the hotel. It is on the third floor and has no elevator so be prepared to carry your bags up and down the stairs. Breakfast is fresh and wonderful and the staff are very helpful and kind. "

"I had overall an excellent stay at the Hotel Calimala Florence. The staff were very friendly and eager to help. It was excellently located. I thought the bathroom a bit cramped, but I had a small room anyway. The breakfast buffet was fine, just not at the price they had it. I did enjoy dinner there, though. Overall it worked out very very well. For other travelers, I will point out that there are two buildings very close together; the one with the rooftop restaurant is "Angel Roofbar & Dining"...
