"Room was clean and tidy on check-in but because it was very hot the room had no AC but they supplied a fan that did nothing to keep it cool. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The bar was well stocked and had all the drinks I needed. Breakfast was delicious and being a vegetarian the vegan full breakfast even included my favourite vegan black sausage. We had dinner in the restaurant which excellent and the waiting staff were attentive."

"Really convenient location in the South Terminal. Plenty of food options on site (I believe 3 different restaurants). Breakfast was really good, lots of selection and very fresh. The signage from the terminal to the hotel could be better. We had to ask for directions a couple of times, but eventually found our way. Check-in and check-out was smooth. Would 100% stay again."

"As other reviews have said the property is old and creaky and furnishings and carpets could do with being updated. The hotel is right next to the castle, pubs, restaurants and-supermarkets and is a great location. It’s a shame really as it could be really nice if a bit of TLC was added to the rooms and especially the entrance which really needs attention. Another Plus is the staff are really nice."

"We chose this hotel because it was good value. Check-in was quick and, when we found our first room hadn't been cleaned properly, reception moved us immediately without any fuss. Unfortunately, the first room contained rubbish, a towel on the floor, and an unclean bathroom with an unflushed, stained toilet. The spa was disappointing. "Overall stay was okay, venue in itself was clean and well maintained. However there was no restaurant open due to a conference being held, only the bar was open with a limited menu. Food took over an hour to arrive and staff had to be reminded several times. On arrival food was cold and at that point not enjoyable for the overly expensive price."
