"The team at Explorer were great to work with. They were super accommodating. We had booked a 3 day stay but the. We realized we needed an extra day. They gave us a late checknout on our first room And then an early check in on our new room. The suite we stayed in was spacious amd clean. The beds were comfortable and the room had a great temp. The linens were clean as well as the towel, which there were plenty. The kichenette worked for our needs. The Explorer is super close to Cedar Point was super close and easy to get to. Only about 10 mins to downtown Sandusky which had some great options for food. "

I would advocate for the fact it is older property, yet it is maintained and offers truly affordable rates, favorably, over the option of tearing it down and charging unnecessary higher rates for “new” or “improved.” Thankful for the affordable offerings."
