"We had the downstairs courtyard room which was wonderful. Tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. The room was at the back so very quiet yet within a short walk of the high street with all its lovely shops, restaurants and pubs. We were the only guests on a Sunday night so had our breakfast in the courtyard. We had a wonderful time and would stay again."

"What a fantastic stay at the The Little Silver Country Hotel, beautiful garden and quaint rooms, we had the double (four poster) with the Juliet balcony (Rm 14), perfect on the hottest weekend of the year, the staff were fantastic and couldn’t do more for us to have the most comfortable stay, fabulous breakfast, and even help us out and went to the trouble and arranged a seamless return taxis to Chapel Down, we will be back!"

"The staff were all wonderful and helpful . It was 36c+ . The building is an old historic property with newly refurbished bedrooms . A fan was in the room to help with the heat . Small but comfortable with a lovely bathroom. My room faced the front and with the heat I needed my window open . The property is by the traffic lights so if you are traffic averse , ask for a rear room . Breakfast is continental but you can pay extra for a cooked breakfast, but not on Sundays . Room for 3 cars to park...

"The hotel is lovely but if youre planning on staying through summer, there is no air conditioning and our room was unbearably hot. They did provide a table fan but it didn't do much to cool the room."

We booked the stay based on how we were spoken over the phone when contacting the propery prior for some details. Spa facilities clean and fully working, cannot mention a negative comment about the property."

Rooms not been cleaned for a long while 1st room covered in dust and bathroom stinking of sewers. 2nd room covered in dust, Dried blood on bed cover and pillow cases, tiles falling off walls in bathroom. Breakfast was dreadfull did not eat beans cold, mushroom srivelled up like rubber bullets. Apparently no manager on site to deal with this still awaiting his call to arange for a full refund. "This is a greta hotel and pub within the historic Chatham dockyard with local outlet shops within 5 mins walking distance, room was clean with some nice touches, staff are friendly and a good breakfast."

The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the whole hotel felt well run and inviting. Fantastic value for money in a great location.
