"Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out."

"Superior room was excellent, welcoming and well presented on arrival. The guests living room was a great place to spend a cosy evening in front of the wood burning stove. Breakfast was excellent, fresh produce and good choice, and the fresh eggs were memorable. The electric charge point was a bonus. "

"Parking was easy, breathtaking views! Room was slightly dated and had some dirt in the room such as dirty fingner print marks on the walls & mold on the shower sealant... Staff were polite but also didnt seem to know what they were doing and could not find my booking for 10 minutes asking me multiple times to confirm i had booked there. Also had confusion over my booking type as expedia allowed me to select the 'pay at property' option (which was more expensive) then the hotel took the money out...

"Fabulously welcoming and accommodating staff. Brilliant, filling breakfasts every morning. Decent WiFi. Parking was a little way off, but only a two minute walk. "

"We have just returned from a lovely overnight stay at Tyn y Coed to celebrate my boyfriends Birthday, couldn't fault a thing, staff couldn't do enough for us, room was clean, warm and comfortable, the food was outstanding,we ate our evening meal there and also breakfast which was delicious. "Excellent staff, beautiful building and decor, everything was very clean and well maintained - our room was absolutely wonderful! We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both were delicious! Service in the bar was super friendly and the cocktails were very tasty! The only thing I would say is that the soundproofing between our room and the bar wasn’t great, so we could hear everything. It didn’t bother us at all as we had earplugs, and it quietened down from about 10:30pm. We...
