"Staff friendly and very helpful. Gave me assistance when I needed it with cheerful "Can I do anything else?".:A pleasure to be around. Good breakfast and plenty of choice for both cooked and buffet options."

"The stay was for 2 nights. Daily cleaning was not provided and done in the room. Even though, I called and asked for it, nothing was done. Tea and coffee sachets were not replenished on the second day."

"Really relaxed vibe and Jack was a great host. The ‘help yourself’ breakfast was a great idea and the little things like, have a bottle of water out of the fridge, went a long way. Room was clean, light and airy. Had everything you could possibly want eg posh coffee maker etc, bottles of water/fizzy drink. Jack made some lovely recommendations for places to see/eat/visit and we can highly recommend The Plough Inn and Jorvine too! Will return for another visit!"

"Only one criticism I have is about the parking .There are only 2 parking spaces at the B&B this only came to my attention when I had booked and received the welcome email/text .i was lucky while I was staying I managed to get one for the 3 days .Other than its a great place to stay very clean and well maintained ."

"Great location and at a reasonable price, just a short walk from the city centre with the added bonus of free parking. Spacious room and bathroom but if you did want to watch tv, this was miniscule. Breakfast was cooked to order and was very nice. The staff here were so friendly and helpful especially on reception. Would certainly return."

"A very charming place to stay at. We traveled with two kids and they loved the bunk bed in the room. We stayed at one of the "cabins" right by the entrance and it was very cute. The only inconvenience is the bathroom shower does not have a door which makes it hard not to have a wet floor. Overall we are very happy with the stay and would recommend this place to others."

Sink and refrigerator were nice. 2 free water bottles. 10-15 minutes from city center. The room in the loft was not good at all. The ceiling on some parts were so short so I hit my head twice. No window. Only one small skylight"

"Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, excellent food. I really cannot fault it. However....the parking is wholly inadequate. 13 spaces, including the 4 EV charge points. I did try to reserve one as suggested, but received no reply. The 4 spots were taken by EVs, but none were charging, and none moved for my entire stay. I was completely unable to charge my car, simply because they didn't want to pay for parking elsewhere. This needs to be better organised, or some accomodation with the adjacent...
