"The room was clean, the breakfast was okay. They had whole wheat cinnamon raisin bagels, which I liked a lot. Fun holiday decorations in the common areas. Nice front desk staff. Heater didn’t seem to do much but we were ok. Would stay there again."

"Excellent parking. I was surprised to return to my room and find the rooms are cleaned daily and new towels. The area is great for dining and very safe to walk around. Staff was very helpful. The trip was to support my granddaughter having surgery at UCSF Benioff. Driving to the hospital on 16th or 17th was recommended -it was a straight shot. Thanks for the excellent recommendation. "

"Overall The Grove was a great stay. The staff is friendly, rooms are clean/comfortable & their check in/check out is simple. I appreciate that they offer luggage drop off & they also had our room ready a hour sooner than check in. Street parking is difficult to find but I was able to get a spot after doing some loops. I would stay here for my next visit."

"The room was spotless, the design and finishes were fantastic, and it was a peaceful escape from the busy streets of Castro in San Francisco. The staff were super helpful and got back to me quickly. Expedia had a $34 food credit on my reservation, but the hotel couldn’t use it, so the staff mentioned they’re looking into a refund."

"The room was spacious and clean! Bedding was very nice and comfortable. The location was central and close to the Opera House which was the reason for our visit. We did have a hard time finding a restaurant close by after the performance and ended up eating next door to the hotel at Mel's. Not exactly a meal to remember but it honestly wasn't bad. Parking garage was very convenient and dare I say affordable at $49 with in/out priledges. I would definitely stay at the Courtyard location again! "

"This place is incredible. They are welcoming and the kitschy lobby and hallways give an old world SF feel. I’ve stayed multiple times and loves it area, comfy beds and warm welcome!"

"The front desk staff both AM and PM were sooo amazing! The ambiance is SO FUN, the rooms are modest but the pillows were so comfy and the linens were fresh and clean. We didn't gumb much time in the room since we were in the city to have fun!! Every staff member was so Helpful, Accomodating and great warm personalities. Thank you !!! "
