"It is a good value although the property is pretty dated. Like many of the buildings in Gal Island it is probably from the 1920's. We did like the pool setup but we were not sure how clean it was as the water is hazy. Within walking distance of the beach and lots of cool attractions. Room was big bathroom was tiny. We stayed in room 7. Our patio view caught a little of the ocean. Expect older and worn not new and shiny. Enjoy the nostalgia!"

"overall it is a very nice property although the ad says there is a jacuzzi and they do not have one , very disappointing .I booked with Expedia and they dropped the ball on my reservation and it took me at least 2 hours to check in and get a room . the room was clean but it had to have batteries in the thermostat and the the remote in the bedroom . Shampoo and Conditioner in the shower were both empty and they really should use a better quality paper towel in the kitchen if they are going to...

"Designated parking spot right in front of unit… very convenient. Accurate description of the property and it was very clean. Overall Galveston is not the nicest area but we felt safe here and it was a short drive to the beach. Would definitely stay here again. I would recommend bringing sheets for the pull out sofa if you need it… I’m not sure there were any. Also very convenient to have laundry in the unit. Newer washer/dryer…worked great. "

"Pictures make it look super nice. When we got there, the drapes looked dirty, smelled like moisture/kinda moldy. I get it since we’re close to the Seawall but other places don’t smell like that. The bedding was stained and dirty what looked like blood stains and yellow stains. The water wasn’t going down the drain in the tub and sink too. I called to let them the know the issues and say we were leaving because we were not comfortable or felt safe staying there. We were disgusted. We had to pay...
