"The room was spacious and clean. My only complaints are about the bathroom. The toilet paper was very thin. They could get better quality and people wouldn’t use as much. Also the bathroom light automatically turn on the fan. Not great when you go at night and wake up your spouse. These are small grievances and overall this is a great place to stay while on The Island."

"The Beachfront Palms is in a great location. And I especially appreciate the plants and the landscaped pool area. I recommend asking for a room that faces the pool. Nice breakfast as well, and the beach is right across the street."

"Great romantic weekend hotel. Lots of historical photos and history. Had a real 1920’s feel to the hotel and decor. Restaurant was great as was the staff. We purposely chose the Galvez. for a romantic get away for the weekend to use pool and bar. The pool was closed for some health related reason. Though I appreciate their concern for cleanliness, it kinda ruined our plans for the weekend. Completely not their fault, just bad luck on our part. We cut our stay short and moved to another hotel...

"The pool did not close at 10 even though the website said it did. Because of light issues the pool closed at 8. The pool had baby frogs in it and looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. The put-put golf was fun just don’t step on the red bricks around the course they will fall and so will you. The breakfast doesn’t look the way it does online. This was not a very good experience."
