"Check in was smooth but we ended up with a strange beeping sound in our room. The maintenance people who came to help us were so nice and helpful, they really made a difference in our stay! The front desk however seemed to not be helpful once the maintenance people determined that the beeping sound was an anomaly (something left by another guest that we could not find). The front desk staff made it difficult to change our room due to only having bigger rooms available. We ended up wasting over...

"Room was in poor shape and too small. Ended up getting a different hotel, and they didn't let us cancel our second night even though the hotel was completely booked so I'm sure they resold the room on night 2. "

"The best thing is the height of the underground garage for tall vehicles and it is heated also. They have a ski storage room at the lobby. Two blocks from the Whistler base gondolas!! Friendly, helpful staff. I have stayed there many times over the last 20 years."

"My son and I stayed one night on Easter Weekend on our way through the area. I've stayed in Whistler many other times in a tent and a travel trailer and had much more restful sleeps! For a kitchenette unit, it had almost no useful dishes (including no coffee cups for the coffee maker!), there was no blanket for the sofa bed for my son and we were woken up repeatedly by loud sounds starting at 4:30am. These issues would have been annoying but what kicked this review all the way down to 1-star is...
