"Room itself fine but newly fitted shower tray flooded bathroom - Room service poor as 3 different menus give 3 different times this is available and a 4 Star hotel stopping room service at 8.00pm???? Wnen cold sandwiches came with chips quality was v poor - drie out bread a scraping of butter and over-fried oily chips - definitely not a 4 Star hotel - younger bar tender needs training on customer service and attitude. Housekeeping staff and receptionist great."

"The stork hotel/pub was perfect for our first trip away with our puppy. The staff were friendly and welcoming the meals in the evening were lovely. The only complaint we have was breakfast took over an hr to arrive after we mentioned to them we were still waiting for it & a waitress apologised claiming that it was all her fault. When it did arrive the sausages were dried up the bacon was overdone & the fried eggs were hard. Apart from that everything else was great."

"I booked a last-minute night away at The Red Pump Inn in Bashall Eaves, and it completely surpassed my expectations. The pub and accommodation are absolutely charming, with beautiful rooms, perfect location, and wonderful ambiance. However, this 275-year-old establishment had a few surprises up its sleeve! Not only was the food superb, but the 'spirits' were surprisingly friendly. My room had a distinct energy that genuinely surprised a complete non-believer, and the wonderful hosts later...

"We booked 2 junior suites, room 228 was very nice and matched what was advertised on the website. Unfortunately room 117 was less satisfactory, 2 rooms on different levels had been knocked together to form a 'suite' with 2 bathrooms a very small bedroom and remote equally small sitting area. Nice view of the bin store from the window resulting in plenty of clattering as bins were deposited there. Breakfast was fine and the staff were very nice."

Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here."

"Expecting refurbished spa disappointed with condition Six people were awaiting entry at 6.30am let in five minutes late.windows rattled from wind regularly was assigned another room which was more spacious and good.limited to two pillows for couple people offering limited support.Food was good and well presented thank you."
