Nicely renovated motel with updated rooms, beds, and bathrooms. Motel offers cook to order breakfast on weekends with stay, which is a very nice addition. Far enough away from the main drag for quiet, but walking distance with public shuttle stops nearby. I would stay there again in the future.
Saturday and Sunday breakfast made to order. The pool was wonderful enjoyed swimming every day after sightseeing in Gatlinburg. Easy trolley access to get to town or travel to the arts and craft community. Beautiful little patio by the creek running behind the rooms. Small family owned and operated establishment.
Nice room for older property. The owners are trying to update the place . The stream was nice and peaceful and the cook to order breakfast was very good.
I had a great stay at sleepy bear motel over the 4th of July weekend. The staff was all super helpful, being able to stay out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Gatlinburg with access to ride the free trolley to go downtown was amazing. Great restaurants you could walk to across the street was a awesome addition. The free breakfast served on the weekend was fantastic and well worth it. I loved how they kept the nostalgic feel of the motel rooms with updated beds, large tv, and ice cold air conditioning, etc. I will definitely be returning in the near future.
Close to downtown, lots of food options nearby, clean, very nice staff, good breakfast. Quiet, even on Friday and Saturday night. Would stay again. The pancake place across the street is amazing.
The room was absolutely pristine and cozy. The weekend breakfast was really good. All of the staff we met was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was on the small side but it wasn’t an issue. My family would definitely stay here again.
A very cute and simple motel that is conveniently located away from the busy area but just across the street from the free trolley so it was easily accessible. The weekend breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed sitting and watching the water off of our balcony and all of the fireflies in the evening.
Everything was great. Tvs are huge! Pool was nice. Being steps from the shuttle was amazing. It was a weekend, so it was a full motel, and our upstairs neighbors were loud & banging things and fighting til 2 am, and our next door neighbors had about 6 people in their room so definitely not quiet. But that in no way should reflect the hotel. It was very nice, and the food while we were there for breakfast was amazing!
Mike was so nice and helpful. The room was very clean and loved the bed. Might suggest table for the porch … and more space needed for clothes. We had a great stay
I enjoyed my room immensely The bed was so comfortable felt like sleeping like on a cloud. I really enjoyed the patio where you could sit and listen to the creek and look at the wildlife. The shower was a good spray I also took a bath when I first got there with some Epsom salts so I enjoyed the fact I could do both. I didn't take advantage of the coffee at 8:30 but right across the street there was coffee at 7:00 in the morning also a very nice restaurant kitty cornered from the place The proprietor was conscientious and helpful and very welcoming excellent customer service
