Comfort Suites Gatlinburg Downtown-Convention Center

"Nice stay for 5 nights for the Monsters on the Mountain festival at the convention center. Walking distance to the center and of course the parkway, lots of included parking. The property was very clean and the room was very large, we got the 1 bedroom suite. The breakfast was adequate, not the best we have had in the same hotel class from other names. Selection was identical every day. Nice to have free lemon water and coffee/hot water available 24 hours a day. Nice patio to sit and enjoy the fresh air and bear watch, which we had an up close and personal one afternoon. The only improvement that I could recommend is the design of the room was very focused on just the appearance; there were almost zero options for any kind of storage. The bedroom had only 2 night stands with one very small drawer each and no dresser or any other place to unpack the luggage. When I am staying for 5 nights I like to unpack my suit case and not have to live out of it for 5 days but it was impossible here. Only one small open bar to hang about 6 pieces of clothing on in the main space. The small dorm fridge had the microwave on top of it and basically no place to put any food items, cups, etc. The bathroom was nice but it appeared there had been a remodel that switched the door swing so you have to go into the bathroom and shut the door before you could turn on the lights. All in all, I would stay again and just adjust for the shortcomings of the room. Very quiet also!"

"Excellent check in by staff, explained where everything was and gave us map to show same. Lots of parking available, room was quiet and beds comfy. Breakfast room gets busy early and queues get long, especially waiting to make waffles. Pool areas looked ok, though didn’t use them."

"The hotel was probably one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in. The breakfast was great each more with a lot of options including lots of different fresh fruits and different meats and egg choices. The outside pool and bar was a nice plus and always very clean. We very much enjoyed our time there."
